Winter Scene Shaker Card

The challenge at Mod Squad is to create a Holiday  Theme card that uses both acetate and vellum so I pulled out my Madison Window and created a shaker card.  I used the acetate behind the window die and the vellum for the poinsettia topper. I colored the vellum with some Copics on the back side.  I really love how the embossing pops with this technique. There are a few things I wish I would have done differently, but it is prettier in real life than it is in the picture. You can see the challenge here .

  1. I absolutely love your winter scene shaker card. I think those are always super lovely Christmas cards when they are created. I can see you put lots of work into yours too. And, that is a great embossing folder as well. I love how the poinsettia at the top decorates the top of the window too.

  2. Great take on the challenge my dear!!! Shaker cards are so much fun, and using the window die is genius. Love your colors, and I so agree that coloring on the vellum really makes the embossing pop. Just gorgeous!
