Impression Obsession Holiday Card

I thought I would do one last Christmas card so I now have two cards completed for next year. This card was made for the challenge over at  Impression Obsession. There are a few steps to this card but it is all die cuts and some were leftover from other projects.

These are the Impression Obsession Dies I used.

Memory Box Holiday Card Challenge

This is the my last Christmas card of the year.  I decided to enter it in the Memory Box Holiday Card Challenge. I used the Memory Box large sled, Memory Box snowflakes, Poppy Stamp Merry Christmas and Poppy stamp whispy pines for the card.

I scored a 5 1/4  by 4 inch card base at 1/2 inch intervals and then stamped it with with a snowflake stamp in Versa Mark ink and white embossing powder. Then I took some Distress Ink pads and used a direct to paper technique to get the wood grained look.  Really quick and simple.

Double D Twelve Days of Christmas 2

Time for the second half of the Double D Challenge Blog.  I chose 9 ladies dancing.

I decided to do a bridge card for nine ladies dancing. I cut eighteen  Poppy Stamp dancing ladies  from 110 pound card stock and layered two of them together so they could stand by themselves.

I like how this came out.

We hope you have some time to play along. Winner of the random draw will get this fun prize.

Obsession Obsession It's Snow Time

The challenge at Impression Obsession is It's SnowTime.  I love their snow flake background paired with the all in one frame.  I used some blue glitter paper for the background and fir trees.

Dies R Us Anything Christmas

Hope most of you have all your Christmas preparations completed and now you are taking time to enjoy the holiday.  I mailed the last of my cards, my decorating is done, and the little bit of baking I still do has been completed.  I love any card that is interactive and Karen Burniston is Queen of interactive. I did several if these cards last year and even more this year for Christmas cards. I made this one in traditional Christmas colors.

These cards are time consuming but not hard if you watch Karen's Video,

Double D Twelve Days of Christmas Days 1-6

Time for a fun new challenge at DOUBLE D CHALLENGE BLOG, Twelve Days of Christmas.   If you are anyting like me,  I guarentee you will be singing this song for the rest of the day.

Our Team Leaders,Diane and Darlene, at DOUBLE D CHALLENGE BLOG are such amazing women.  They come up with all these fun Mood Boards and post them on our team blog months before we need to have them done.  It gives us time to think about the challenge and an excuse to buy a new stamp or die.  They also send us happy mail each month.  I received this cute partridge in a pear tree from them several months ago so, of course, that was my starting place.

I added a little color with some Copics and used a Sue Wilson Die that was sitting on my desk from a previous project. A few greens from Poppy Stamps and a snowflake from a previous project completed the card.

This is the prize for this challenge.

We hope you will join us for this challenge. It is so much fun.

Dies R Us Winter White

We have a new challenge for you at DIES R US CHALLENGE BLOG called Winter White.  I chose this beautiful die by Sue Wilson as my starting point.

Using the largest die, I cut an apature from a piece of white card stock and then embossed it with a snowflake embossing folder. Then I cut another piece of card stock with using only the  center piece from the die and backed that with white card stock .  I cut the centerpiece of the die and stacked that on top.  The little tree and snow flakes are from Karen Burniston's Evergreen Pivot Panel.
