Poppy Stamps Fall Frolic

I watched a video on Splitcoast Stampers with Dave Brethauer at the beginning of the month.  He was using dies to cut napkins and the water coloring them.  I thought I would give this a try on some fall leaves.  The Poppy Stamp challenge this month is called Fall Frolic.  I used the newly released Poppy Stamp Maple leaves

I used these Poppy Stamp Dies for this card.

Double D Christmas Style

WHAT IS YOUR CHRISTMAS STYLE?
Traditional, Modern, Elegant, All White, Vintage

I like all styles of Christmas Decorations and try to vary my card styles for Christmas. This year, however I noticed that I am using lots of glitter paper and foil.

I bought this pretty Die from Spellbinders in October and have been using it for different card designs and in different colors for Christmas.  I was trying to keep the outside simple so I could use my time making little surprises inside the cards.

The team has lots of inspiration for you and several Christmas styles. We hope you join us at Double D Challenge Blog.

You could win this fun Christmas die.

Dies R Us Giveing Thanks

Giving Thanks and/or Turkey

We are officially half way through the month of November and it is time for a new challenge at DIES R US CHALLENGE BLOG.  I love this IO die.  It is large enough to be the focal image of a card and looks great cut from glitter paper. I cut the oval out a sheet of white card stock and embossed it and layered it on a black card base.  I inlaid the snowflake die cut and centered the sentiment. I always have  flowers that I make on hand so I added one of them to complete the design.

We hope you will join us at DIES R US CHALLENGE BLOG for this fun challenge.

Double D Neutral Fall

What a fabulous mood board.  I love the neutral colors with little pops of muted orange, like on the truck, the pillow, the flowers in the watering can, and some of the pumpkins so that  was my inspiration. I chose brown instead of grey for a background, but I think I will try it again using shades of grey.

The thing I love most about the DD Mood Boards is that there are so many ways to glean inspiration. Colors, patterns, texture, shapes  and objects are just a few ideas from this board. Our DD Team has provided lots of inspiration for you at DD Challenge Blog. We know you will have fun with this challenge.

Dies R Us Trees or Leaves

                            Trees and/or Leaves

The challenge this time at Dies R Us Challenge Blog is called trees and or leaves.  I thought about doing a fall theme with some leaves, but bottom line is that I need more Christmas cards. This was really simple.  I cut the trees twice one from white and once from gold glitter card stock and glued them together. The pretty frame is from Frantic Stamper. I use this die over and over again. Because the border is thin, I topped it with a frame from Lawn Fawn. I think I will add a sentiment across the trees, but I didn't have the size I wanted. I just ordered some different sizes from the Dies R Us Store so I will choose from them.
