Happy Anniversary

I am OVER THE MOON!!! I was so excited to be invited to join the talented ladies at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog. They are celebrating their second anniversary so the challenge is to make an anniversary card or project. The prize is not one but two $20 gift vouchers so I know you will want to join in the fun. The rules are simple. Just use the challenge theme and, of course, dies. Here is my card for the challenge. I wish you could see the dimension and feel the texture.

I cut the On Your Special Day three times from heavy card stock and glued them together to get more dimension. I think you can tell from the picture how the card came together without a wordy description.  It does not show but I used vellum behind the layers. The flowers are from Wild Iris.

Now head over to DiesRUs and see what my team mates have created and then pull out your favorite stamps and dies and link up an anniversary project for a chance to win one of TWO $20 vouchers to the Dies R Us Store.

  3. Congrats on your new gig! They are lucky to get you. Let me say that this card just takes my breathe away. The picture shows all of the dimension and you have done a outstanding job. The colors in the flowers bring out the soft background and the additions of the chapel is perfect for an anniversary card.
