Tissue Box

I made this tissue box for my friend's bathroom. She saw one in my bathroom and admired it so I made one for her in shades of purple. The base frame is easy and they can be as simple or as fancy as you like. I followed the directions on this video Tissue Box. I used Cheery Lynn Italian Flourish on the sides and top.  I made the purple flowers from Cheery Lynn Floral but the white flowers are from Wild Orchid.

I will enter this at the Scrapy Land Challenge Anything Goes. I will also enter it in the Score Pal Bag or Box Challenge.

Cut two pieces of card stock 9x12
Score at 4 ¾ and  9 ½   on  12 inch side
Score at 1 inch  on the other side
Do the same with the other piece of card stock
The one inch scoreline creates the ledge for the  top of the box
The other score lines create the sides of the box.

  1. Hey, this is a cool idea. I think I have to make some of these. I have two bathrooms in Florida that need these boxes.

  2. Beautiful! I have all the directions and everything to make one of these and I absolutely am going to do it one of these days. I know, I know... I'm always saying that, but I eventually get around to things. Your friend must be thrilled with this!
