Snow Day

I cut the snowflake oval from black and white card stock. I used the negative from the black and the positive from the white and glued them together, I cut the Poppy Stamps House in the Woods from white card and  masked around the house and trees so I could sponge some distress oxide inks around the house I glued this piece behind the oval and added some foam tape for dimension. I sponged another piece of white card for the background and placed it behind the card panel., The whole panel was placed on a white card base. Some cute deer from Poppy Stamps finished the card.

I will enter this in the Memory Box Snow and Winter Challenge and
the Poppy Stamps Snow Day Challenges.

  2. The layers look like a window to your snowy scene. This is gorgeous and so peaceful with the deer an the snow. Just like the snow falls that I remember. Another great card by Kathy.

  3. Such a beautiful card with the soft sponging and that oval frame. I think the frame really makes this card, plus the black just makes the colors pop. This is just lovely, and has your signature all over it!!!
