Memory Box Challenge

Since I have so many Memory Box dies, I love to play in the challenges when I have time. The challenge this month is Memory Box Insects  butterflies, bees, and dragonflies. I have been having fun lately pulling out some dies and deciding to use them. For this card, I pulled out three dies I have not used for awhile. Delightful Peony, Delightful Peony Outline and Butterfly Exhibit. I was not sure where I was going but this I what I came up with.

I just used the leaves and the flower for this card. I cut both dies in vellum  and an extra leaf from the outline. I colored the back of  velum with alcohol markers and glued them to the outline flower and leaves. Butterfly exhibit was cut in black. The thank you is from Cheery Lynn. This will be an easy mailer.

  2. LOVE this beautiful flower in Vellum! So gorgeous@! Fabulous card. Oh OH, I just realized the card I entered has a bird and not a butterfly ooopsie, Nana Brain lol

    1. Double Nana Brain, I do have butterflies on my entry...OMG....a mind is a terrible thing to waste! LOL

  3. This is stunning, with all of the texture, but it is still flat. That embossing folder that you used goes great with the flower and the leaves. I have that one too, but have not used it in ages. Thanks for the inspiration. Loving the subtle color with the colored vellum.

  4. Well, you certainly was going in the right direction as this is gorgeous! I love all the dies used and the pretty colors. Beautiful texture too!

  5. Gorgeous card. I love the embossed background. I have something similar and don't think to ever use it. I really like that flower die, and you have used it perfectly here. Really, really pretty!!!

  6. I love where you went with it! The vellum is so pretty with this die and you combined it beautifully with the scribbly embossed background. I have that folder and love it. Very fun!
