Dies R Us Just Desserts

The challenge at Dies R Us Challenge Blog this time is all about dessert.

My favorite dessert is ice cream in almost any flavor or just vanilla with fresh fruit.  I decided upon  chocolate ice cream with strawberries for my dessert.  I cut the glass from clear acetate which did not show up as well as I had hoped.

I just got this Impression Obsession Large Frame and I can tell it is going to be one of my go to dies.  I love how it framed my sundae.  Instead of my traditional flowers, I used a couple Impression Obsession strawberries that I colored with Copics.  A few prills on my ice cream added some texture and look like sprinkles. Instead of using the cherry that comes with the set I added a smaller strwberry from the IO strawberry basket.

  2. Hello Kathy, what a refreshing card this week. I love your flowers too, but this card with the very real looking strawberries and delicious ice cream is so much fun. We have a thing for ice cream around our house too. My hubby especially. I can get him to do anything with the promise of a dish if ice cream. Lol

  10. That ice cream sundae is super cute and I don't know what you did with the strawberries, but they look absolutely delicious! I can see the clear "glass", but I'll bet it shows up better in real life. Red gingham and strawberries always go hand in hand in my book, just like strawberries and chocolate! The wide frame is cool, too.
