Spring Flowers

I found the inspiration for this card from Linda Palder at Pinterest . Yellow is so crisp and cheerful and reminds me of spring when the daffodil, forsythia and tulips bloom. I started with a pale yellow card base and a Cheery Lynn doily. I used some buttercup liquid pearls on the doily. The flourish on the side is the IO heart flourish which I topped with some Spellbinders bitty blossoms.  I found the pussy willow chip board cut outs in a box when I was cleaning out a few boxes.  I don't remember when or where I got them.

I will enter this in the following challenges Dies R Us Monochromatic

  2. Isn't this a beautiful card?!?! I love the colors too, yellow makes me happy! The fold is a cute one using the doily like that! All those pearls and the beautiful flowers are just perfect accents to the pussy willows. If you find any in your yard (or a neighbor's shhh) you can cut them and 'force' them to bloom in your house this Spring. I do that with Forsythias too just so I know Spring is on it's way, may take a room full this Spring to feel that way. Beautiful card!

  3. I am drawn to the colors on this card, and then to all of the details. It is quite gorgeous. Yellow is my favorite color next to blue. This time of year, yellow is so important. These roses are fabulous. I have the die, and have never used it. I may pull it out and take another look.

  5. Love the design of this card. That doily peeking out behind the front flap is so pretty, especially with the liquid pearls. Also love the cheery, sunny yellow, and those flowers, flourishes and pussy willows just make me smile. Really gorgeous card!
