Double D Snuggle Up Buttercup

Darlene must have been  thinking about keeping warm when she designed this challenge and created this mood board for the Double D Challenge Blog.  Don't you love all the patterns and textures?  I took my inspiration from the bottom right picture. The cat looks so content snuggled up in his blanket.

I had the perfect cat stamp designed by Theresa Momber for Gina K designs.  It was one of the very first stamp sets I bought to make a card for my daughter's birthday. I am not a colorist but I did the best I could, and I found the perfect papers in my stash. I added a little texture with some lace and my paper crimper. The holiday circle was a gift from Dies R Us that I got when I placed an order this summer.

Here is the prize you can win if you link up a Snuggle  Up Butter Cup at  Double D Challenge Blog

Dies R Us Give Thanks

It is the 15th of November and time for a new challenge at  Dies R Us . November is typically the month where we are asked to think of our blessings instead of our troubles and Give Thanks. I love this sentiment by IO because it is so elegant, but cut from gold glitter paper is stands out even more.  I decided to keep the card CAS, or at least my attempt at CAS.   Look at all that white space.

Here are the dies I used for the card.

Dies R Us Stitching

It is the beginning of a new month and time for another challenge at Dies R Us.  This time we challenge you to use a die with stitching. This frame die by IO is perfect for framing a sentiment, and perfect for the challenge because both pieces have stitching on them. I used PTI  poppy card stock and gingham paper for the frames and the background for the IO sentiment. Some pine branches from Poppy Stamps and bells from IO and my card is complete.

Here are the dies I used with links back to the store.

We hope you will join us because one random winner will have a chance for a gift certificate from our store. Check out what the team has designed for your inspiration at Dies R Us  and then link your design to the blog.  We can't wait to see what you create.
