I used both old and new things. I have had the snow globe from IO for a year now but I have only used it once. IO also sells the plastic globes that fit in the circle so it is easy to make a shaker card. The dp is from a stack that I bought three years ago. The new things are the pine trees in the snow globe that I cut from white glitter paper and the wood grained background stamp. It does not show up very well in the picture. The snow flakes were new before Christmas but I used them several times on Christmas cards.
I used the following IO products
Snow Globe - DIE122-R Deer Trio - DIE080-N Fir tree DIE217-E small snow flake DIE100-F
Leafy branches DIE055-N
This card will be entered in a few challenges. The Winter Chill Challenge at IO http://mitrafriant.typepad.com/impression_obsession_news/2015/01/new-year-and-new-challenge.htmlThe Anything Goes With a Twist at Use something new.

OMgoodness! This is fantastic Kathy! Love all of the texture and the whole card is beautiful. Those die cuts from IO are amazing and I love what you do with them.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are all killing me with your card creations. We just got to Florida and I connected my computer last night. The big game is today(Packers and Cowboys), so I doubt that I will get any crafting done, but watch out for next week. I am cheering for the Packers, no surprise!
Oh, my goodness, Kathy. This is absolutely STUNNING!!! Just STUNNING! I love the neutral colors you have used, so different for a winter card. And interesting that you used that check paper for a background strip and the plaque on the snow globe. Really great touch. Incredibly GORGEOUS~!!!!!!
