Screen Divider Gold

This is the first of the screen divider cards  I have tried.  Mine is not as fancy as some, but it turned out ok for a first effort. I used Gina K gold card for he base and used Labels 4 Spellbinders die to cut the legs. I could not get a good picture of this card to show the shimmer of it.  The Cherry Blossoms is a stamp from Flourishes illustrated by Marcella Hawley. I stamped with Versamark and embossed with gold embossing powder and colored with Spectrum Noir markers then I cut he panel into four sections, layered on black and put it on the base card. The different sentiments came from a variety of stamp sets.

I will enter this in the following challenges

Power Poppy Give it a little shimmer with gold.

  1. Fabulous card!!!! It's always so hard to catch the sparkle, I can only imagine. Love the die cut legs, so appropriate for this card. The flowers make it perfect for a screen card. Beautiful job Kathy.

  2. That is more than just ok....that is spectacular and beautiful! I love that flower you used and your coloring is fabulous! Aren't they quite fun to make and decorate? Love this!

  3. Donna's right, this is more than just ok. It is GORGEOUS. I'm going to make one for my granddaughter's Easter card.....thanks for the inspiration.

  4. This is gorgeous. It reminds me of an Asian screen design. Love the colors.

  5. I LOVE how this turned out. I have seen this a couple of times but have never tried it. Beautiful flowers and wonderful sentiments. And I think the highlight is the gold embossing, so rich looking. Just GORGEOUS!!
