You Did It

The challenge at IO is You Did It.  I got the inspiration for this card from Stephanie Kluck on the MFT blog.  She used embossing paste for her ice cream and I loved the look she got.  I bought some embossing past a few months back.  I used it one time(one of those supplies you just have to get but never use) and forgot about it. It was fun to use on this card.  I sprinkled some glitter on the paste before it dried so it looks like specks of fruit. I did not have any stamps that say YOU DID IT so I used You are an Inspiration.  I think that works. I will enter this at the IO Challenge

I used the following IO products

CL43 stamp set

Cover a card gingham CC006

Ice Cream Cone Set - DIE070-F

  1. Oh I love your blue polka dots and yellow gingham AND your ice cream!!! It looks GREAT! How fun! I researched how to make my own paste....still haven't made it lol Fabulous card, your cone looks awesome too!

  2. This is so cute and very creative! I also bought embossing paste a bit ago and haven't opened it yet! Your project is making me want to pull it out!!

  3. YUM! Your ice cream cone looks good enough to eat. What a great job you did with that paste, I love the effect. Especially with the glitter! Love how you used the vellum for the greeting too!

  4. This looks so real. I never thought of using the embossing paste in this way. So cute, with the background that you used.

  5. How inspired to use the paste as ice cream! So cute!
