Mom's Birthday

My Mother turns 93 years young this month so I made this accordion  fold card by Karen Burniston for her.   This is my first time to make one of these so, as usual, I made a few mistakes along the way.  I wanted sturdiness so I used Gina K 120 pound card. It was a bit hard to fold and is a bit bulky so I will use a bit lighter card next time.

    T.H.U.D!!!! Jaw on floor......this is incredible. Your mom is gonna be blown away by it. Simply stunning!!!! I love the flowers and the beautiful lacy cover plate die cut on the front. I think I NEED that!!! Absolutely gorgeous!!

    OMG I am lucky I am sitting otherwise i would be on the floor with Judy. This is one amazingly beautiful card and your Mum will love it. How wonderful to be able to celebrate such a lifetime. There are so many beautiful elements to look at and admire. A masterpiece indeed Kathy.

    Hello Kathy, So sorry that I missed commenting on this card. It is amazing and you did a wonderful job on it. Summer has been busy for me. I have two aunts that I visit regularly. I made cards for both of them and they really do appreciate them. One aunt is 96 and the other, well, I went to her funeral yesterday. She was 91, and I love our visits. I was so happy to spend time with her before she died and I was able to say good bye. I know that you treasure your Mom. This beautiful card says it all.
