Double D Twine

Are you ready for another fun challenge at Double D Challenge Blog.   It is all about twine this time. Although I love ribbon and twine, I seldom use it on my cards so this was fun for me.   I really planned a nautical design, but I could not find my blue and white baker's twine. I used the red and white and suddenly it became all about Christmas for me.

I cut a circle frame using two different sizes of Spellbinder's circle dies. To give it stability I cut it two more times and glued them together. I wrapped some twine around it. Then I went over the top of that with some baker's twine and made a bow for the bottom. My Fiskar's  paper crimper added some texture to a plain white card stock piece and some snow flakes and sequins added a bit of texture and interest. The cute pelicans are from Cottage Cutz.

We are looking forward to seeing what you will create for your Twine creation. The design team always has trouble picking the top three because there are so many fabulous creations. Be sure to check out the inspiration from the team at Double D Challenge Blog

  3. What!!! You have a start on your Christmas cards already. This one has so many elements on it and is so stinking cute. I should take a hint from you, and make some early. When it gets close to Christmas, I never have time to make one so intricate. Those penguins are adorable nestled in your twine wreath. The added bow and the snowflakes are a nice addition. Great card, a winner!
