Garden in Depth

I got this Spellbinders Grand Arch for Mother's Day this year so I decided to give it a try.  It is so much fun and the look on my friend's face when she opened the box was worth the extra time. It is hard to get a picture that reveals all the dimension.

There are six layers but since you can use the back and front of five of the layers you have 11 areas to add elements for your scene.

Here I have added Elizabeth Craft daisy and lilac, a Cheery Lynn birdbath and a Sue Wilson banner. You can see the IO fence in the background along with the trees from the IO bride and groom. There is also a Taylored Expressions garden arch covered with flowers.

I really had fun making this and the next one should be easier. I will enter this in the SCRAPYLAND Anything Goes Challenge.

  1. Oh My Goodness! This is a masterpiece of crafty goodness. You made a window into a secret garden that is ravishing! So much work in all of the additional elements, but they really make for a splendid card. As I look at the front of the card, I see the spray of flowers and that sweet little bird that came on my birthday card recently. You picture is fantastic, but I am sure that in real life, it is gorgeously stunning. Mine is!

I adore that sweet birdbath! This creation is just like walking into a magical hidden garden! 6. Oh, my WOW, Kathy! This is right up your alley, considering your skill with dies. LOVE the bird bath and the arching branches, the little fence and, of course, all the flowers and the arch. So much depth you can walk right into it. I can't stop looking. Fantastic!
