Dies R Us Birthday

The challenge at Dies R Us Challenge Blog this time is Birthday.  I don't know about you, but I send more birthday cards than anything else.   I just got a new Elizabeth Craft lace frame die from the DIES R US STORE so I started with that. I sponged a little color on the center of the die cut.

Then I grabbed one of my potted die cuts.  I usually color two or three when I have my markers out so I have some  when I want to create. Most of you who visit my blog on a regular basis know that I love making paper flowers. I usually make them in front of the TV while I watch a Hallmark movie with my hubby. All of the flowers in the pot were in my stash so this card only took me fifteen minutes to make because the only thing I had to cut was the lace frame, the Queen Anne's lace and the Happy birthday and then assemble the card.
These are the dies I used from the  DIES R US STORE

Hope you find some time to join us for the challenge.

  1. I remember you telling me that you made your flowers while watching TV and I did that too for awhile. I has very happy this week when I opened the box of completed flowers that I did and popped them onto a card. I call my box, Kathy's box. Lol I could never make flowers as beautiful as you, nor can I arrange them in a beautiful bouquet like this one in a vase. I love the addition of the pot and the background is a great accent for the total design. I think I will make some flowers today. Thanks for the inspiration.

  3. This is beautiful Kathy! I like to have images and such on hand too, for quick and easy cards. That's a great idea to make the more intricate flowers while watching HM on tv. You make the most beautiful floral arrangements on paper I've ever seen and you're such an inspiration.
