February is history and March is promising thoughts of spring. In Northern California, our almond, plum, cherry and peach trees are in full bloom and as breath taking as always. I love my little farming community. The grapefruits, lemons, limes and oranges have provided their fruit for the season and now the the summer fruits and nuts are beginning the process. God is good!!!
So the first of the month means a new challenge at Dies R Us. When I get new dies, I can't wait to use them. I wanted to use my new stiched flower die from Impression Obsession and the hugs die. I have had the Impression Obsession All in One Frame Die for awhile and it is one of my "go to" dies. In this case, I used part of it to make a tag. I cut it from pink and white so I could vary the layers.
I also used shades of pink and green for the flower.
These are the Impression Obsession Dies I used tor the tag.

Since both Dies R Us and Impression Obsession Tag You're It had the same challenges I decided to enter my tag into the Impression Obsession Challenge too.
We hope you will link up your tag and join us for the challenge at Dies R Us Challenge .
Also if you have not signed up for the DRU newsletter you are missing some awesome sales and special promotions. For instance, in February there was a special promotion of Spellbinder dies. I was able to get a few of my favorites.
Also don't forget, .Dies R Us now has a sister store with warehouses in the USA and Canada called Didi Crafts.
It will ship to both the US and Canada. Didi Crafts will carry some of the same products as DRU, but most will be different. Now our Canadian friends don't have to worry about huge taxes or shipping fees. How great is that!?!
Have a wonderful MARCH!!!
Oh your views must be sooooo beautiful! We have had almost no snow this winter and are grass is still green--pretty unusual....everything else is just brown lol LOVE your pretty Tag! The layered flowers and the pretty foliage look marvelous! Love the different leaves!
ReplyDeleteI am living my life vicariously through you right now as I look out our front window and see over a foot of snow in our yard. All the flowering trees sound amazing. I love your beautiful tag, and especially that beautiful flower. Your colors are so sweet and pretty and all that texture adds so much to the overall look. Very, VERY nice.
ReplyDeleteI can picture your Spring blooms as they are not far from the ones here in Florida. I absolutely love stitched anything and these flowers that you used are the bomb! I may need them, you have been an enabler for me and I love that. Here is a video that I just watched and I thought of you. Back at you. Let me know what you think.

Your tag is gorgeous Kathy! Love the soft pinks and whites.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous flower tag, and I am so jealous of your flowering trees, we are still very ugly outside, snow is melting making a muddy mess, and everything is brown, but good news is it will be Spring in 20 days and I can hardly wait!! Anyhow you have enabled me to put those flowers on my wish list!!
ReplyDeleteI love this design and almost went that route myself for making a tag using that all in one frame die. Maybe another time I will use it. I certainly love the colors you chose for it.
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous tag! Beautiful frames and a lovely pink flower! Sounds like you live in a wonderful farm community, how fun! I'm sure the trees are just gorgeous! I have a small cherry tree that blooms in the spring, but it won't be for quite awhile yet. It's lovely when it blooms! We still have snow on the ground here. But, it's suppose to warm up this week!:-)

Hello !
I'm writting an article for the issue 58 of the french magazine called "Passion cartes créatives".
The subject is japanese inspiration (geishas, fans, crane birds, cherry blossoms, kawaii things, origami...).
I wish to show your card within this article.
(seen here : http://stampwithk.blogspot.com/2015/03/screen-divider-gold.html)
Would you agree with that ?
If yes, could you please send me as soon as possible high resolution photo of your creation without watermark on it ?
Of course, your name or pen name if you want will appear next to the image, and the address of your blog will be in the address book.
Thank you in advance for your quick answer, even if it is negative, so that I can get organized because I have to give my paper very soon.
Best Regards, Elise AMANN
PS: If you have any other crafted cards on this thematic that you would like to share with our readers, feel free to send me a photo of them.
