A new challenge starts today at DIES R US CHALLENGE BLOG called Seas the Day. For this challenge, I chose a QAE(Quick And Easy) card. I cut a circle from a panel of white card and covered it with distress ink then sprayed with water. I stenciled and sponged some light blue card stock with stormy sky distress ink for clouds and water. The die was cut from white card stock that I colored with makers and then I placed a Lawn Fawn square frame around my scene.

ReplyDeleteWow, I love this look. The stylized sun is so stinkin' cool and placing the focal image inside the circle really makes the whole thing pop. This is a FABULOUS card!
ReplyDeleteWell is this card doesn't look like Florida. I think I need some palm trees dies. Love the look of the sky and the triple layers that show case the palm tree.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful framing of a very cool die! I always loved this particular Cheapo die. I like your background, too. The island really looks like it's out in the middle of the south Pacific!
