Isn't this a fun mood board for the Double D Challenge and the design team has really had fun with this one. You are going to love what they put together.
This card was really fun for me to make. I took out the very first stamp set that I ever bought 11 years ago. It is one from Gina K created by Teresa Momber. My daughter loves cats so I bought it to make cards for her. This cat was sitting in a tea cup, but I fussy cut him so I could put him in a crate of Christmas greenery and put a Santa hat on him. I did not have a die or a stamp I could use so I found some free clip art and sized one of the hats to fit my cat.
What a cute kitty all dressed up in his Santa hat. Wonderful card design.
ReplyDeleteThat am just the cutest stamp you have used, so happy you got to use it!! Beautifully and fun designed card, I am 'partial' to kitty cats myself (we have 7)...hah!
ReplyDeleteKathy, your Santa kitty is so cute! Love the crate and how the angle lines up with the paper design. Wow, great that you still have and used a stamp from so long ago!

ReplyDeleteI thought that I knew all of GKD stamps, but you got me on this one.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to make your stamp go further. He is the bomb with that Santa hat and you are so clever to add one with a resized digi.
Well this card is so stinkin' CLEVER!!! Putting the little kitty in the crate is GENIUS, and then the clip art hat is just the perfect final touch. Such a sweet creation, I really love it!!!
ReplyDeleteOMG this is SO DARN CUTE! You have outdone yourself my friend! What a fun and fabulous way to use that stamp wet and his Santa hat looks SO CUTE!! Love how he's tucked down in the Christmas greens (as I'm sure real cats could do)... SO WELL DONE!! Thanks for the smile this morning! Stay safe & healthy! Hugs
