Flowers in containers is the new challenge at Double D Challenge Blog. What a wonderful array of containers... buckets of tulips, glass vase of forsythia, an old boot with snapdragons, and a tea kettle of daisies.
I just purchased a new die from Honey Bee that makes a shaped flower pot easy. I cut the main die from white card stock and then cut it two more times with decorative paper. I added the decorative paper to the top of the card. The die comes with flowers to use for the insert and I will use them to make bunches of flowers later, but I still have quite a few flowers I made last year in my stash so I used them.
The insert for the flower pot provides a space for a personal or stamped message. This is an easy die to use and adds a WOW factor for the recipient.
What a fabulous card this is,absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSo different, so really looking adorned with your beautiful daisy flower.
ReplyDeleteI bet this will go to a P.E.O. Sister. Perfect card for that. (wink)
Nothing makes me smile more than daisies! This is so sweet. I love how the bouquet fills in with the added insert. Beautiful arrangement and awesome die!

ReplyDeleteWOW indeed! I LOVE this and just might have to check into this die for myself ... would be great for when my craft shows open back up! GREAT JOB!
ReplyDeleteSo much dimension which makes this look so realistic. I love your design.
ReplyDeleteA total WOW! Perfectly Potted!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool design. The insert is so stinkin' awesome, and the daisies are just beautiful. LOVE this!
ReplyDeleteThis is the best flower pot card ever! I have a similar flower pot die, but it doesn't come with the insert which is so much easier than making your own. I love your daisies with it. Seriously. They look completely real. I'm in awe.
