'BEE' Inspired
Use bees and/or anything that inspires you on the mood board.
(honeycomb, yellow, black, hexagon etc)
Welcome to the second Double D Challenge for the month. I took my inspiration from the colors and the framed bumble bee pictures.
I used a Tutti Design Honeycomb and Impression Obsession wooden fame frame.
I only used part of the die behind the frame. I mounted it on a black card base. I finished it with a flower.
I don't know why I have to put a flower on everything. Looking at it now, I realize it did not need it. I probably need to join a support group. I'll look into it. Anyway, if you play along, you will have a chance to win this Sunny Studio stamp set.
You are going to love what the DD Team did for this challenge. We hope you will join us at Double D Challenge.
You are too funny, support group? I thought that it was your signature and I always look for the flowers on your cards. I do like that die for this challenge, but that addition of the flower is the best.
ReplyDeleteFabulous card, love how you were inspired by the mood board and I had a great laugh at your comment about needing help for adding a flower, but I think it is the perfect addition, after all bees and flowers go together, so I think you are alright, teehee!!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Kathy! I think the flower looks great. It compliments the flowers on the die cut. Your flower embellishments are always beautiful! I love the frame on this too!
ReplyDeleteWOW what a great idea and looks AWESOME! LOL on the support group ... you're too funny! Does that flower make YOU HAPPY? Well there ya go ... that's all that matters! Besides a flower is your trademark ... just wouldn't be the same without it!! You have created a beautiful work of art and I love it! You're so clever!!
ReplyDeleteLove your framed bee. x
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling piece of artwork Kathy! I love the addition of the flower as it adds depth and texture. No support group needed, just keep using your beautiful flowers. ;0)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute card and I like the added flower. Afterall those bees need to get their pollen from flowers so that is a natural thing to include.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great die cut, love how you framed it up and showcased it all! Bee utiful!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this. I just got that die and can't wait to use it. You have really done it justice here, and I like the way you used the frame. Looks like a work of art.
ReplyDeleteYou made me laugh about the support group, but the flower is lovely and I think it's all perfect!
