Another fun Mood Board from team leader Diane at Peace on Earth Challenge Blog. I really was not sure of what I wanted to do, but I decided to recycle a card sent by a friend so I chose the horse.
I love the little cardinal and the red barn toward the back. I cut an Oval from some red card stock and placed trimmed version of the card behind the oval. Next, I used some Poppy Stamps snow flake edger die cuts and Merry Christmas to frame the oval.
Remember the Mood Board is for your inspiration so any Christmas design is perfect for the challenge. We hope you join us at Peace on Earth Challenge Blog.
Awe ... what a beautiful image and you've showcased it perfectly with this gorgeous snowflake framing. Smart move on your part to recycle and showcase it once again. Well done my friend!
ReplyDeleteI was hoping you would be inspired by that horse! Fantastic! Love that oval cut framed with those pretty snowflakes! Merry Merry!
ReplyDeleteThis card is certainly an inspriation! You recycled a image that was so different and then turned it into a pleasing and grand Christmas card. That oval cut was a fine idea but you didn't stop there. Adding the frame of snow flakes is a special touch. I adore that die cut Merry Christmas too.
ReplyDeleteThose die cuts are marvelous, but what really grabs me about this card is the way the horse and the cardinal are looking at each other. It just screams peace and harmony, something that we can't get enough of these days. I love your design, and repurposing that image is just genius.
ReplyDeleteI know this upcycled card is much prettier than the original. The image is absolutely precious and I really love the snowflake garland and snowflake-embellished sentiment.
ReplyDeleteFabulously created card and you have nailed the mood board perfectly! What a great recycle!!
