Giving Thanks and/or Turkey
We are officially half way through the month of November and it is time for a new challenge at
DIES R US CHALLENGE BLOG. I love this IO die. It is large enough to be the focal image of a card and looks great cut from glitter paper. I cut the oval out a sheet of white card stock and embossed it and layered it on a black card base. I inlaid the snowflake die cut and centered the sentiment. I always have flowers that I make on hand so I added one of them to complete the design.
Time is going so fast. Here it is the middle of the month and we will be celebrating Christmas soon. But fist we need to give Thanks for all that we have. I Love your card to remind us of that. The lacy oval and the daisy are great together to frame the words that we all need to remember.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully designed card Kathy, I see a few dies that might have to 'jump' in my cart...you make the prettiest flowers!!
ReplyDeleteCan't believe it the middle of November already. And today is November 15th, a high holy day in Michigan. It's the opening day of firearm whitetail deer season......stay out of the woods if you don't want to get shot...lol. This card is so classy, and the timing is perfect for the Thanksgiving season. I love everything about it, especially that beautiful daisy in the corner.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card with the gorgeous ornate oval frame! Beautiful embossed background and lovely daisy, too!
ReplyDeleteThis is just gorgeous! LOVE the dies you used. And doing the sentiment in gold glitter paper just made it really pop! Awesome job!
